Approach

Children are little explorers and it’s our job to inspire them

Our goal is to tap into children’s natural inclination to learn from their environment, and to inspire them through learning to develop strong skills that will set them up for life. To be the best little explorers they can be.

Our team is our family

Our team is carefully chosen based not only on ability, where we have many graduate early years professionals, but also on their capacity to reflect our core values of empathy, energy, integrity and a real passion in the development of children.

Outdoor learning

Little Acorns Nursery exists to enhance children’s lives by providing the opportunity to explore the world and learn through experience of the outdoors that they might not ordinarily have daily. We believe that children prosper through enriched experiences of life and Little Acorns Nursery offers this through the unique surroundings and children’s farm.

Safety and wellbeing

Safeguarding children is at the foundation of everything we do. We create a secure and fully protected environment with external CCTV to provide you with peace of mind to know that your child is in the best hands.

Healthy body, Healthy mind

We pride ourselves on our food. What we feed our body is as important as what we feed our mind. With organic home-grown vegetables, straight from the ground on our vegetable patch and our own on-site chef. We have secured a 5 star food and hygiene rating.  We ensure that all meals are nutritionally balanced and children receive their 5 a day, each day.

Parents are our partners

Working in partnership with parents is essential for a child to thrive and develop. We work in collaboration with you to understand your individual child’s needs and how we can help your child fulfil these. We promote honest and open two way conversation so you know our door is always open. We also believe that involving you as much as possible in the nursery is hugely important. We have regular events to get everyone involved such as parents evening, open book week, sports day, Mother day, Father’s Day and Grandparent’s day to name but a few.
